Private Class Policies

Suggested Attire

Pottery-making is naturally a messy activity.  While clay and glazes typically wash out of clothing without staining, we still suggest that you wear attire you do not mind getting dirty.  Please be aware that long nails will make it difficult to work with clay.  If you have long nails, we recommend trimming them before attending your class.

Cancellations and Deposits

When registering for a private class, a $65 deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your spot (holiday bookings may require full payment two weeks in advance).  This deposit can be paid online, in person, or over the phone.  The remaining balance is payable when you come in for your class.  Deposits will be refunded for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance.  You can reschedule (a maximum of 4 times) or make changes to your booking up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations to reservations that were previously rescheduled.

Class Length

The standard length for our private group classes is two hours.  Private group classes which run in excess of two hours may be charged a fee of $25 per additional half hour.  Please arrive to your appointment ten minutes in advance. Your class will not begin until your entire party has arrived.  Classes will not be extended in the case of late arrivals.

Pick-up

Work will typically be ready for pick-up two weeks after the date of your class.  We will notify you via email, text message, or phone call when your work is ready to be picked up.  Items must be picked up within 60 days after notification. Unclaimed work may be discarded after 60 days.
