Gumbo Limbo Pottery is a pottery gallery and studio in Kendall offering classes on the potter's wheel or in hand building. We have kids clay classes and adult classes scheduled during the day and in the evenings. Groups, couples, or individuals welcome and can be scheduled at your convenience. You can also shop for local, handmade ceramic art in our gallery featuring work from 6 Miami artists specializing in stoneware, porcelain, raku, earthenware, and more.

4/20 Workshop with Kristia & Stacey

Join @staceymakespots and @ceramicsbykristia for a 4/20 holiday class!

Students will learn how to hand-build and decorate smoking pipes and ashtrays in this 3-hour clay workshop. Techniques taught include slab building, pinch potting, sculpting and detailing, with an emphasis on proper air flow. You don't need any clay experience to sign up! Space is limited.

Students are encouraged to bring sketches or images for inspiration!

Price includes clay and firing of pieces. Students are welcome to use our studio tools or bring their own if they prefer. Pieces will be left for drying and firing at Gumbo Limbo Pottery and should be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.
